The
Club's biggest (and craziest) fundraiser is the annual Night Shift
Soccer match. Over a Friday night the team gather for a futsal match
lasting up to 12 hours. Each of the players spend the weeks leading up
to the event getting sponsored for each hour of play and then give up a
whole lot of sleep in order to test the limits of human endurance and to
see just how uncoordinated even the most sporty of people get at 3 in
the morning. Ring ins are more than welcome as are people happy to pop
by and revive flagging spirits. Pop in for an hour or stay for the whole
night, its a lot of fun and a really worthwhile cause.
